Hi, I’m a therapist in Los Angeles.

Let’s start, or continue, your healing journey.

My work is about helping clients feel better in an embodied way. The goal is not “functioning.” Plenty of us function every day by pushing through overwhelm, ignoring anxious or depressive symptoms, or simply faking it til we make it. There’s nothing wrong with that- in fact, it’s an adaptive way of living in a chaotic world. But this is a space to offer yourself more. More capacity to feel, more tools to thrive (rather than just manage), and more ways to relate to yourself as you engage in life.

As we become more embodied and reduce suffering, we begin to connect more deeply to vitality. The “aliveness” or “spark” that exists within all of us. For me, vitality is the goal of this work- for each individual and for our world.

It is my priority to create a non-judgmental and empowering space for clients, and I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet clients where they are on their journey.

In addition, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an incredible tool for healing- providing a space where we can release the parts of us that have been feeling stuck.

My Approach

My therapy practice draws on different therapeutic approaches to help clients transform trauma and become more present in their lives. Part of the beauty of the healing process is that there is no “one approach” that will work for everyone. I view therapy as a creative partnership between myself and clients, in which I incorporate presence, my training, and the wisdom from various lineages to enable clients to become unstuck.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is an evidence-based framework that views humans as a system of parts. By addressing and accepting these parts, we can open up space to related to ourselves in a more authentic, unburdened way.

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)

MSC helps us rework the harsh and critical ways we treat ourselves so that we can acknowledge our pain, connect to common humanity, and be with ourselves through anything.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT focuses on mindfulness and dialectics (the idea that seemingly opposing truths can exist simultaneously). Through skills, DBT empowers clients to be more effective in interpersonal situations, regulate emotions, and tolerate distress.

Somatic Experiencing (SE)

SE uses the wisdom of the body to navigate the healing process, build resilience, and connect to aliveness. It teaches us how to be embodied, rather than living in our heads or feeling disconnected from ourselves.
